This qualification is designed for individuals engaged in logistics operations within the transport and logistics industry. It encompasses a broad range of skilled applications, including evaluating and analyzing current practices, developing new criteria and procedures, and providing leadership and guidance to others.

Units of Competency

To achieve this qualification, a total of 15 units must be completed:

  • Core Units (2):
    • TLIF0009 – Ensure the safety of transport activities (Chain of Responsibility)
    • TLIX4028 – Apply knowledge of logistics
  • Technical Elective Units (7) – Group A: Select from units such as:
    • TLIA4032 – Organise transport of freight or goods
    • TLIA4033 – Organise international transport of freight
    • TLIP4038 – Monitor a supply chain operation
    • TLIR4001 – Monitor supplier performance
    • TLIF4065 – Ensure compliance with Australian Dangerous Goods Code
    • TLIL4078 – Coordinate fleet control logistics
    • TLIP4040 – Monitor warehouse operations
  • General Elective Units (6) – Group B: Choose from units such as:
    • BSBCUS401 – Coordinate implementation of customer service strategies
    • BSBMGT403 – Implement continuous improvement
    • BSBWHS401 – Implement and monitor WHS policies, procedures, and programs
    • PSPGEN034 – Compose complex workplace documents
    • TLIL4005 – Apply conflict/grievance resolution strategies
    • TLIP4001 – Develop plans to meet customer and organisation needs

Note: Up to 3 of the general elective units may be selected from any relevant nationally endorsed Training Package or accredited course, provided they contribute to the vocational outcome of the qualification.
