Entry Requirements

Entry to this qualification is limited to individuals who:

  • Have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma qualification in related fields of study and have three years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience at a significant level of leadership and management responsibility and/or complexity in an enterprise. OR
  • Have completed a Bachelor degree in related fields of study and have two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience at a significant level of leadership and management responsibility and/or complexity in an enterprise. OR
  • Have five years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience at a significant level of leadership and management responsibility and/or complexity in an enterprise.

Course Structure

Total Units: 8 (3 core units and 5 elective units)

  • BSBLDR811 – Lead strategic transformation
  • TAELED803 – Implement improved learning practice

Elective Units:

Elective units must be relevant to the work environment and the qualification, maintain the integrity of the AQF alignment, and contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome. Some elective options include:

  • BSBCRT611 – Apply critical thinking for complex problem solving
  • BSBFIN801 – Lead financial strategy development
  • BSBHRM611 – Contribute to organisational performance development
  • BSBINS603 – Initiate and lead applied research
  • BSBLDR601 – Lead and manage organisational change

  • BSBOPS601 – Develop and implement business plans

Note: Up to two elective units may be selected from an Advanced Diploma, Graduate Certificate, or Graduate Diploma from this or any other currently endorsed Training Package qualification or accredited course.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Pathway

For individuals with substantial experience in management and learning roles, the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) pathway offers an opportunity to have existing skills and knowledge formally recognized. This process involves:

  • Providing evidence of relevant work experience and prior learning.
  • Demonstrating competency through assessments aligned with the qualification requirements.
